When I held an open full day seminar about structure at work in Stockholm recently, Anna Diop told me that at RFSU where she works, you let a colorful rubber ostrich straddle your screen as soon as you want to signal to your colleagues that you want to work undisturbed at the moment (and that they had better email you instead, for now).
